Job Title: Accounts Payable/Receivable Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable/Receivable Specialist to join our team. As an AP/AR Specialist, you will be responsible for administering, designing, and ensuring compliance with accounts payable and receivable processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Invoice verification, including comparing invoice charges to purchase orders and confirming goods and services have been received
  • Analyzing and resolving client/internal queries
  • Interaction with clients/internal people
  • MIS reporting and enterprise resource planning knowledge
  • Payment authorization and processing
  • Reconciliation of accounts payable ledgers to identify improper charges and ensure accurate and timely payment of amounts due
  • Billing/invoice generation for goods, services, and projects, and verification of customer credit approval
  • Payment processing and application to customer balances, including reconciliation of cash payments to customer accounts
  • Receivables age analysis and reporting
  • Balance sheet reconciliation of general ledger accounts required for compliance
  • Period end close activities, including pre and post closure meetings with respective entity owners and Chief Accountants
  • Reporting (GEMBA with entity and KPI reports publishing)
  • Performing internal controls as per compliance requirements
