Position Overview:

Early Autism Services is looking for a passionate Behavior Technician (BT) / Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide tailored 1:1 Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children aged 2-11 in a nurturing atmosphere. As a BT, you will receive comprehensive training to advance your career and develop your skills as an RBT, all while working under the guidance of experienced Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and mentors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA.
  • Provide direct one-on-one support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Collect and analyze data to monitor individual progress and inform decision-making.
  • Assist in creating and executing individualized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with the BCBA and team members to ensure effective intervention implementation.
  • Maintain regular communication with parents and caregivers regarding progress and concerns.
  • Document sessions and progress reports accurately and thoroughly.
  • Participate in regular supervision and training sessions for professional development.

Qualifications:

  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is highly desirable.
  • Registered Behavior Technician certification or completion of the 40-hour BACB modules is preferred.
  • A minimum of a high school diploma or GED is required.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are necessary.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check.
  • Authorization to work in the United States is required.
  • Must be at least 18 years old at the time of hire.

Physical Requirements:

Physical capabilities include walking, occasional running, standing, sitting, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, twisting, reaching above head, pulling, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
