Position Overview:
We are seeking dedicated individuals to take on the role of Behavior Support Specialists.

In this position, you will have the chance to significantly impact the lives of children diagnosed with autism.

Your responsibilities will include working directly with children, executing tailored behavior intervention strategies under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

You will apply proven methodologies to foster communication, social interaction, and daily living skills while minimizing challenging behaviors.
We are looking for individuals who are committed to supporting children with autism in achieving their fullest potential. Patience, empathy, and teamwork are essential qualities for success in this role.

Comprehensive training will be provided to ensure you feel confident and prepared to assist each child, regardless of your prior experience.

Given the nature of the work, it is important to be resilient and adaptable, as children can exhibit unpredictable behaviors.

At the end of each day, you will leave knowing that you have made a positive difference in the life of a child and their family.

Compensation:
Starting Pay Range:
$20 - $23

This pay scale represents the potential salary range that Centria Autism anticipates for this position, which may vary based on qualifications, performance, experience, and/or seniority.

Essential Qualifications:
- A genuine passion for assisting children with autism.
- Ability to demonstrate patience, compassion, and teamwork.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Capability to obtain CPR and First Aid certifications, along with a Tuberculosis test (if not completed in the past year).
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment background check.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is required.
