Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit team at Ascension Seton Hays. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct nursing care to critically ill newborns and their families, working collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest level of patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
  • Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, taking into account the unique needs and goals of each patient.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
  • Monitor and report patient progress to physicians and other healthcare professionals, making recommendations for changes in patient care as needed.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and advancements in neonatal care.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Texas.
  • Experience working in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit or similar setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and responsibilities while maintaining a high level of patient care.
