**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) team at Ascension Seton Hays. As a Registered Nurse in our NICU, you will provide direct nursing care to critically ill newborns and their families.

**Responsibilities:**

* Provide direct nursing care to critically ill newborns and their families
* Implement and monitor patient care plans
* Coordinate with the healthcare team to ensure the highest level of patient care
* Note and carry out physician and nursing orders
* Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team

**Requirements:**

* Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required
* Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) preferred
* Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire
