Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse

Ascension Seton Hays is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) team. The successful candidate will provide direct nursing care to critically ill newborns and their families, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to critically ill newborns, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, lab results, and other relevant data to inform care decisions.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Texas.
- Experience in a neonatal ICU setting preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification preferred.
