Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Seton Medical Center Hays. As a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse, you will provide direct nursing care to critically ill newborns and their families.
Responsibilities- Implement and monitor patient care plans to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines to provide well-coordinated patient care.
- Note and carry out physician and nursing orders to ensure timely and effective care.
- Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team to ensure a smooth transition to home or other care settings.
- BLS Provider certification obtained within 1 month of hire date or job transfer date required.
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Certification specializing in The S.T.A.B.L.E Program preferred.
- Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) preferred.
