Job Summary

The Facilities Manager for Residential Housing will oversee the maintenance, operation, and improvement of all physical facilities and grounds at Brooklyn Law School's residence hall, Feil Hall.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of maintenance staff, set schedules, and ensure adequate coverage
  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise maintenance and repairs for resident apartments, common areas, and event spaces
  • Be on call for emergencies, ensuring quick and effective resolution to maintain tenant satisfaction and safety
  • Coordinate and supervise contractors on site for repairs and preventive maintenance
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in facilities maintenance or equivalent with an Associate's degree or technical school certification
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and customer service skills
  • Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards
Preferred Qualifications
  • Higher education residential housing experience
  • Bilingual language skills are a plus
Compensation and Benefits

$70,000 - $75,000 per year, depending on experience. A comprehensive benefits package includes sick, personal, and vacation paid time off, a generous retirement plan, dependent tuition scholarship Pre-K- undergraduate college, and additional summer Friday PTO.
