About the Job: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Behavioral Health Specialist to join our team at Kansas City Behavioral Health. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities.

Job Summary: The successful candidate will work under the direction of our Clinicians to provide ABA services, implement client plans, and maintain accurate records. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping others and wants to make a difference in their community.

Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Provide ABA services to individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities">
  • Implement client plans, including behavioral interventions and skill acquisition programs">
  • Maintain accurate records, including data collection and reporting">
  • Collaborate with Clinicians and other staff members to ensure consistency and quality of care">
  • Attend meetings, trainings, and other professional development opportunities">
  • Assist with program development, implementation, and evaluation">
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management">

Requirements:

  • ">
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as psychology, education, or special education">
  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required; we will pay for your training and certification if you don't already have it">
  • Experience working with individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities preferred">
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills">
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team">
  • Basic knowledge of ABA principles and practices">
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and other software applications">
