Job Description

Kansas City Behavioral Health Holdco is seeking a motivated and passionate Behavioral Health Support Specialist to provide care and support to our clients from ages 5 to 21 years old in our school-based program.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to make a difference in the lives of young people. As a Behavioral Health Support Specialist, you will work closely with our team to provide behavioral health services and support to our clients in a school setting.

Responsibilities
  • Provide behavioral health services and support to clients aged 5-21 years old
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and other staff members to create a safe and supportive learning environment
  • Implement behavioral plans to promote positive behavior and improve academic performance
  • Document client progress and communicate effectively with parents and guardians
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience working with children and adolescents in a behavioral health setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
