Job Title: Autodesk Technical Application Engineer – Vault/PLM

At Tata Technologies, we are seeking a highly skilled Autodesk Technical Application Engineer – Vault/PLM to join our team. As a key member of our Technology Solutions line of business, you will play a crucial role in expanding our footprint through the sales of digital transformation software, services, and support sales.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers as a technical trusted advisor.
  • Demonstrate thought leadership and product expertise to help customers achieve their goals.
  • Innovate and deliver packaged service offerings to increase customer success and new product adoption.
  • Handle all incoming Autodesk Vault related technical support requests from customers and Sales team.
  • Research, verify, and document product defects.
  • Stay up-to-date on improvements in Installation and Licensing technology.
  • Utilize customer input to generate sales tools, materials, or content that clearly articulate the advantages of Autodesk solutions.
  • Recognize and pass on potential leads for customers uncovered during support calls.
  • Follow up calls to customers to ensure they are using and adopting their software.
Requirements:
  • Basic troubleshooting skills in Microsoft Windows.
  • Knowledge of VMware, SQL, and Server architecture.
  • Ability to quickly identify and troubleshoot problems and provide solutions.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly motivated self-starter, willing to travel primarily in Michigan and Ohio, but may extend to other locations in the US.
  • Ability to conduct yourself in a group setting as a leader and expert.
  • Autodesk Vault usage experience.
  • Autodesk Vault installation and configuration experience.
  • Autodesk Inventor experience.
  • Assist helpdesk with Autodesk Vault customer support coordinated by Autodesk Helpdesk technician.
  • Experience presenting and demonstrating Vault software with Inventor/AutoCAD integration.
  • Autodesk Design and Manufacturing (PDMC) experience.
  • CAD, PLM, IT, or programming background.
  • Fusion Manage experience a plus.
  • Vault PLM experience a plus.
