Columbia Hospitality, Inc. is on the lookout for a Marketing Specialist who will play a pivotal role in enhancing our team culture, brand identity, and the overall reputation of our properties. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Marketing Specialist will:
  • Provide marketing assistance for designated properties.
  • Contribute to the formulation and implementation of yearly marketing strategies, budgets, reports, and presentations.
  • Develop multi-channel marketing campaigns, which include:
    • Website content creation
    • Executing social media initiatives
    • Writing and designing marketing emails
    • Creating and printing onsite promotional materials
    • Collaborating with internal and external teams regularly
  • Participate in routine marketing meetings, prepare agendas, and document and distribute meeting notes.
  • Review and edit marketing materials produced by colleagues.
  • Handle marketing invoices for each property.
  • Organize and maintain marketing documentation.
  • Perform additional duties and administrative tasks as assigned.
  • Occasional property visits may be required.
QUALIFICATIONS

The Marketing Specialist will possess the following qualifications:
  • A university degree in marketing or a related business field, with a minimum of one year of relevant experience; or a suitable combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Basic understanding of marketing tools and techniques, especially in digital marketing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including:
  1. The capability to write, proofread, and edit reports, business correspondence, and promotional content.
Ability to effectively present information and address inquiries from team members, managers, clients, guests, and the public.Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.Solid personal management skills, including time management, planning, and achieving results.Proficiency in calculating discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.Effective problem-solving skills with the ability to make decisions in routine situations.Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite preferred, especially InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.COMPENSATION AND WORK SCHEDULE
  • Dependent on experience
  • This is a full-time, non-exempt role typically operating Monday through Friday.
  • This position requires in-office attendance on select weekdays.
