Position Summary:
The Clinical Laboratory Scientist will report to the Laboratory Director and Technical Supervisors, responsible for executing technical procedures and quality control within the Clinical Lab. This role involves operating and maintaining laboratory instruments, ensuring accurate reporting, and performing clerical tasks as needed. All laboratory staff are expected to uphold the mission and values of the hospital by providing courteous and confidential service to patients, visitors, and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform technical procedures and quality control in the Clinical Lab.
- Operate and maintain laboratory instrumentation.
- Ensure the accuracy of reports and maintain confidentiality of patient samples.
- Adhere to all regulatory standards and professional guidelines.
Qualifications:
Current CLS License required.
Compensation: Pay range of $69.86, with individual wages determined by qualifications and experience.
Compliance: Tenet complies with all federal, state, and local laws regarding mandatory vaccination of its workforce. Proof of vaccination or an approved exemption will be required prior to the start date.
