Position Summary:

The Clinical Laboratory Scientist, reporting to the Laboratory Director and Technical Supervisors, is responsible for executing technical procedures and quality control within the Clinical Lab. This includes operating and maintaining laboratory instruments, ensuring accurate reporting, and performing clerical tasks as required. All laboratory staff are expected to uphold the mission and values of the hospital by treating patients, visitors, colleagues, and staff with care, courtesy, and confidentiality.

Every member of the laboratory team is accountable for the accuracy of their work, adhering to professional standards as Clinical Laboratory Scientists or healthcare workers. Staff must maintain the confidentiality of all reports, ensure the integrity of patient sample identification, and perform designated tasks to comply with all regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

Current CLS License required.

Compensation: Pay range of $69.86 per hour, with individual wages determined by qualifications and experience.
