Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of loan fulfillment operations staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient and accurate loan processing.
  • Collaborate with the enterprise lending and management team to design, develop, and implement strategies to improve internal and external customer satisfaction, reduce processing times, and enhance reporting and measurement systems.
  • Establish and monitor efficiency standards for loan operations functions and staff to ensure timely and accurate loan closing and funding.
  • Develop and implement processes, procedures, and policies to ensure compliance with lending regulations and minimize risk.
  • Assist with regulatory exams and loan audits, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Lead and develop a strong team that can handle a diverse workload due to the wide range of loan products being processed.
  • Communicate and execute objectives necessary to meet strategic goals, working closely with the Affiliate Banks and Operations Management team to ensure alignment.
  • Responsible for hiring, terminations, and conducting performance reviews.
  • Some travel may be required for this role.
Qualifications
  • Requires a bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field and 12+ years of extensive lending operations-related experience.
  • Management experience is required.
  • A combination of education and experience may meet job requirements.
  • Broad knowledge of lending operational processes, procedures, practices, principles, applications, and methods.
  • Advanced working knowledge of lending regulations, laws, and compliance.
  • Exceptional leadership and people development skills are required.
  • Must have excellent management and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with various levels of management and staff.
  • Ability to manage multiple geographic areas and/or groups.
  • Ability to set strategic goals and objectives.
  • Ability to identify, analyze, and understand issues, problems, and opportunities.
  • Excellent organizational, project, and time management skills.
  • Exhibits an exceptional degree of ingenuity, creativity, and resourcefulness in decision making and problem solving.
  • Advanced knowledge of lending systems.
  • Strong change management skills, with the ability to implement changes.
