Position Summary

Oversee construction activities through both in-house and contracted labor for new builds, maintenance, and renovation projects. Ensure safety and quality standards are upheld within the construction division. Responsible for the recruitment, training, development, and performance evaluation of team members.

Salary Range: $58,000 - $78,000/year

Essential Qualifications

  • Ability to meet background checks and pass a drug screening.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction.
  • At least 1 year of leadership experience.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Familiarity with materials, methods, labor, and equipment required.
  • Understanding of the English language, including grammar and composition.
  • Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interpret specifications, such as blueprints, to determine construction needs or to plan procedures.
  • Monitor work progress, equipment, or construction sites to ensure safety and compliance with specifications.
  • Measure and mark site locations or placements of structures or equipment accurately.
  • Coordinate activities with other construction projects.
  • Delegate tasks to employees based on job requirements.
  • Estimate material and labor needs for project completion.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers and other departments to resolve issues or coordinate efforts.
  • Review and reconcile submitted invoices against completed work.
  • Order or requisition necessary materials or supplies.
  • Analyze production challenges and propose solutions, such as enhancing methods or implementing motivational strategies.
  • Train staff in construction techniques, equipment operation, safety protocols, and company policies.
  • Document personnel, production, or operational data accurately.
  • Ensure reports are submitted timely and accurately.
  • Foster positive employee relations through effective communication and support.
  • Assist workers engaged in construction activities using tools or equipment.
  • Arrange for equipment repairs as needed.
  • Process damage claims appropriately.
  • Recommend personnel actions, such as promotions or transfers.
  • Adhere to and enforce company policies and procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Work Environment - Field-based, with flexible scheduling.
