Position Summary

The Construction Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing the entire construction process from inception to completion. Key responsibilities include:
  • Managing and directing site activities to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Supervising project administration personnel and construction engineers, collaborating with project superintendents to set operational priorities.
  • Forecasting and monitoring project costs and revenues, ensuring compliance with budget estimates.
  • Resolving issues related to labor disputes, staffing, materials, equipment, and contract administration.
  • Working closely with the Safety Manager to uphold safety standards throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Building strong relationships with Superintendents, Subcontractors, and Assistant Project Managers.
  • Maintaining essential project documentation, including RFI logs and change orders.
Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience with a General Contractor.
  • A Bachelor's Degree is advantageous.
  • Proven experience managing projects from start to finish.
  • Strong proficiency in software and technology relevant to construction.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Effective time management abilities to ensure timely and thorough project completion.
  • Experience in team management is preferred.
  • Current knowledge of the construction market and emerging technologies.
