Job Overview
This role focuses on supporting physicians and staff within the outpatient clinical environment.

The Liaison's key responsibilities include providing direct assistance, identifying workflow challenges, exploring optimization opportunities, onboarding new providers, aiding physicians and other clinicians in customizing their Epic setup, developing note templates, and addressing technology-related issues.

This position will also deliver Tier II end-user support for new and upgraded Clinical Information System applications that influence clinical workflows across all El Camino hospital campuses, affiliated clinics, and Community Connect clinics.

Additional responsibilities encompass testing workflows, creating instructional materials, assisting with training, and relaying stakeholder-reported issues to the iCare application teams.

The liaison will become proficient in both the Epic application and El Camino Health's specific workflows to comprehend decisions that will affect end-users.

This individual will collaborate with training liaisons to identify workflow modifications resulting from change requests, updates, and release changes.

The physician liaison will aid in communicating these changes to all stakeholders. This role is a vital component of the Epic Team.
Qualifications
Two years of college or equivalent education/training.
A bachelor's degree in education, organizational development, nursing, business, healthcare administration, or a related field is preferred.

Two years of experience in an ambulatory clinic setting, including responsibilities for direct patient care or patient registration and scheduling, or technical support for clinical staff, along with relationship-building with physicians.

Prior experience with clinical systems EMR or Epic is preferred.
Clinical or technical experience in the area corresponding to the assigned application is preferred.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with physicians, nursing, and ancillary staff.
Ability to work independently and interact positively with all levels of employees and physicians.
Proven proficiency with Excel, Word, and Outlook.
License/Certification/Registration Requirements
Valid healthcare certification or licensure is preferred.
Valid California driver's license.

Salary Range:
$76.26 USD Hourly
