Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Therapist to join our team at PAMF-Palo Alto Medical Foundation CAD. As a key member of our interdisciplinary practice team, you will provide high-quality psychotherapy services to patients with a wide range of social, emotional, and mental health issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide short-term direct clinical services to patients 18+ with a spectrum of social, emotional, relationship, and mental health issues.
  • Conduct initial biopsychosocial assessments and refer patients to community providers as needed for ongoing therapy needs.
  • Collaborate with physicians, other health practitioners, and administrative staff on care coordination and treatment planning.
  • Work as a principle team resource for all mental health matters and implement best practices in the field of behavioral health.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in a mental health discipline or equivalent education/experience.
  • LCSW or LMFT licensure.
  • 2 years of recent relevant experience in group therapy and assessment, care plan development, and outcomes tracking.
  • Ability to assess patient needs, provide high-quality psychotherapy, and work as an active member of an interdisciplinary practice team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of human development, psychological treatment, and intervention modalities with adults.
  • Knowledge of psychosocial factors relevant to mental health, including personality, human growth and development, interpersonal relationships, group process, family dynamics, community integration, and socioeconomic resource provisions.
  • Ability to effectively work with a wide range of psychiatric treatment problems and make sound clinical decisions regarding patient acuity and dispositions.

Work Environment:

This is a full-time position with a 40-hour workweek, Monday-Friday, 8 hours a day. The position is eligible for hybrid remote work arrangements.
