BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team in Washington, D.C.
Job Summary:We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Physical Therapist to provide high-quality care to our clients in senior living communities. As an Outpatient Physical Therapist, you will work independently to assess and develop individualized care plans, conduct diagnostic tests, and educate clients and their families on therapy services.
Responsibilities:- Conduct outpatient visits to clients in designated senior living communities
- Perform diagnostic tests and measurements, such as mobility and range of motion assessments
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, including manual therapeutic exercises and gait training
- Educate clients and their families on therapy services and activities necessary for independent living
- Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations pertaining to client care management
- Current VA Physical Therapist license
- Outpatient experience preferred but not required
- Graduation from a program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association or the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Dynamic and strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills
