Job Description

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team in Staunton, Virginia. As a home health Physical Therapist Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients in their own homes.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients in achieving optimal physical well-being through treatment, testing, education, and interventions as delegated by a licensed Physical Therapist.
  • Work collaboratively with the Physical Therapist to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Provide physical therapy services to clients in their homes, including exercises, modalities, and other interventions as needed.
  • Document client progress and communicate effectively with the Physical Therapist and other healthcare team members.
Requirements:
  • Current licensure or certification in the state of Virginia.
  • Graduation from a two-year college-level program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association.
  • At least one year of experience working as a Physical Therapist Assistant under the supervision of a qualified Physical Therapist.
