Key Responsibilities- Community Engagement: Build strong relationships with residents, staff, and community partners to foster a sense of community and promote a culture of safety and respect.
- Incident Response: Respond to incidents and emergencies in a timely and effective manner, using de-escalation techniques and conflict resolution skills to resolve situations peacefully.
- Security and Safety Measures: Implement and maintain security and safety protocols, including monitoring cameras, securing entry points, and conducting regular safety checks.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with staff, residents, and community partners to identify and address safety concerns, and communicate effectively to ensure a safe and secure environment.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of incidents, safety concerns, and security measures, and provide regular reports to management.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: 1+ years of experience in security operations, community engagement, or a related field.
- Certifications: WA State Security Guard Certification, De-Escalation training, and Self-Defense training required.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
