About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud and Network Systems Engineer II to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our IT department, you will play a crucial role in driving our company's digital transformation and ensuring the smooth operation of our network and cloud systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Implementation: Design, implement, and manage robust and secure network and cloud systems using AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Network Protocols: Develop and maintain network protocols including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, DNS, DHCP, HTTP/HTTPS, LAN, WAN, and SAN.
  • Automation and Scripting: Automate network and cloud processes using scripting languages like Python, Powershell, Ansible, and Terraform.
  • Network Security: Ensure network and cloud security through the implementation of cybersecurity measures, intrusion detection systems, firewalls, and VPNs.
  • Network Hardware Management: Manage network hardware such as routers, switches, and load balancers, and perform configuration and administration tasks as needed.
  • Network Virtualization: Support the implementation and management of network virtualization, SDN, and SD-WAN technologies.
  • NAS Administration: Handle NAS configurations and administration, including NFS, SMB, and CIFS.
  • Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor network and cloud performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide solutions to enhance system efficiency and reliability.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their needs and provide network and cloud solutions that support business objectives.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in network and cloud engineering, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Cloud Platforms: Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP, and services like IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
  • Network Protocols: Proficiency in network protocols and technologies including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, DNS, DHCP, HTTP/HTTPS, LAN, WAN, and SAN.
  • Scripting and Automation: Strong scripting and automation skills, with proficiency in Python, Powershell, Ansible, and Terraform.
  • Cybersecurity: Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and experience with security technologies such as firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
  • Network Hardware: Experience with network hardware including routers, switches, and load balancers.
  • Network Virtualization: Demonstrated experience with network virtualization, SDN, and SD-WAN.
  • NAS Administration: Knowledge of NAS configurations and administration, including NFS, SMB, and CIFS.
  • Certifications: Possession of industry certifications such as CCNP is a plus.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and in a team. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
