Position Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Network and Cloud Engineer II who will play a crucial role in our digital transformation initiatives. This position is essential for ensuring the effective operation of our network and cloud infrastructures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network and cloud technologies and will be eager to contribute to our innovative projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and oversee secure and efficient network and cloud systems utilizing AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Develop and manage network protocols such as TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, DNS, DHCP, HTTP/HTTPS, LAN, WAN, and SAN.
  • Automate processes within network and cloud environments using scripting languages including Python, Powershell, Ansible, and Terraform.
  • Ensure the security of network and cloud systems through the application of cybersecurity measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and VPNs.
  • Administer network hardware, including routers, switches, and load balancers, performing necessary configurations and management tasks.
  • Support the deployment and management of network virtualization, SDN, and SD-WAN technologies.
  • Manage NAS configurations and administration, including NFS, SMB, and CIFS.
  • Continuously monitor and troubleshoot network and cloud performance, providing solutions to enhance efficiency and reliability.
  • Collaborate with various teams to understand their requirements and deliver network and cloud solutions that align with business goals.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • At least 5 years of experience in network and cloud engineering, ideally within the construction sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS services.
  • Proficient in network protocols and technologies including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, DNS, DHCP, HTTP/HTTPS, LAN, WAN, and SAN.
  • Strong scripting and automation capabilities, particularly in Python, Powershell, Ansible, and Terraform.
  • Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and experience with security technologies like firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
  • Familiarity with network hardware including routers, switches, and load balancers.
  • Proven experience with network virtualization, SDN, and SD-WAN technologies.
  • Knowledge of NAS configurations and administration, including NFS, SMB, and CIFS.
  • Relevant industry certifications such as CCNP are advantageous.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
