Key Responsibilities:

- Define project deliverables and specifications by collaborating with clients, engineers, and architects to establish project scope and necessary resources.
- Accurately calculate cost estimates for all project tasks and manage the project budget effectively.
- Develop and schedule the entire construction timeline, ensuring adherence to project deadlines.
- Obtain necessary licenses and permits, ensuring compliance with all construction codes.
- Collaborate with subcontractors and external vendors to negotiate favorable contracts.
- Provide regular updates on project status to key stakeholders through progress reports.
- Prepare detailed project cost estimates, budgets, and proposals.
- Identify required resources (manpower, equipment, materials) while adhering to budget constraints.
- Negotiate subcontract agreements and assist in construction contract negotiations.
- Review construction documents, drawings, specifications, and addendums for accuracy.
- Analyze subcontractor proposals and negotiate agreements and change orders.
- Prepare and review submittal packages, ensuring compliance with design and engineering standards.
- Coordinate with project superintendents to manage subcontractors and suppliers, creating interim work schedules.
- Maintain comprehensive job-related documentation.
- Monitor costs and manage cash flow throughout assigned projects.
- Foster relationships with existing clients while pursuing new business opportunities.
- Conduct project meetings and collaborate with administrative staff for minute preparation.
- Attend and engage in required meetings, training sessions, and exercises.
- Uphold a high level of confidentiality.
- Represent the company with professionalism, courtesy, and discretion in all interactions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in construction management with progressive responsibilities.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is advantageous.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the construction industry and building processes, including codes, blueprints, permits, and project management principles.
- Familiarity with construction or project management software is preferred.
