Job Title: Technical and Assistant Designer

**Job Summary:**

Showroom Fifty is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Technical and Assistant Designer to join our team. As a Technical and Assistant Designer, you will be responsible for assisting our design team in creating technical designs, patterns, and logos for our children's fashion products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze design sketches to create flat sketches and comprehensive garment tech packs using Adobe Illustrator.
  • Communicate with the design team on current designs and provide technical support as needed.
  • Create patterns and logos for our products.
  • Upload seasonal styles into our system and assist in unpacking and separating samples.
  • Communicate with our Spec-Maker on final production samples and assist in organizing and setting up the showroom.
  • Take flat lay photos and coordinate with our photo editor to create high-quality visual content.
  • Create line sheets using flat lays and lifestyle images.
  • Assist with order entry onto our online system and provide support to our team at photoshoots.

Requirements:

  • Positive attitude and superior organization skills.
  • Basic understanding of garment construction and design interest.
  • Prior experience and knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Experience with Google Suite and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work in an office setting 5 days a week.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with flats and technical drawings.
  • Prior experience working on set for photoshoots.
  • Design experience and/or past work portfolio.
