About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to join our team at ABC Home and Commercial Services. As a key member of our HR Division, you will provide administrative support to our HR Department, ensuring the smooth operation of our human resources functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform various administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and record-keeping, to maintain accurate and up-to-date human resource files and records.
  • Manage the new hire onboarding process, communicating with candidates and ensuring a seamless transition into the company.
  • Conduct background checks and drug screenings, as required.
  • Organize new hire orientations and provide clerical support to the HR Department.
  • Provide excellent customer service to employees and applicants, answering frequently asked questions and referring complex inquiries to senior-level HR staff or management.
  • Reconcile HR invoices monthly through our accounting software.
  • Assist with benefits questions, annual wellness clinics, and open enrollment.
  • First line of support for employees, maintaining employee anniversaries and milestones, and arranging gifts and celebrations.
Requirements
  • Associate degree or 2 years of experience in an administrative role.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, research, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills, with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), electronic filing, and essential office equipment.
