Job Overview

The Human Resources Coordinator is an essential member of the Talent & Culture team, tasked with managing recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, training, internships, and mentorship programs. This role also collaborates on refining internal systems, processes, and policies while handling various administrative and operational tasks.

A successful candidate will possess a solid understanding of operational and human resources systems and processes, with the capability to implement and manage both effectively. This position demands the ability to work both independently and collaboratively, demonstrating strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Talent Management - HR, Recruitment, Onboarding & Offboarding
  • Oversee recruitment, hiring, onboarding, offboarding, and administrative support processes.
  • Ensure adherence to institutional procedures throughout all hiring processes.
  • Coordinate tasks and collaborate with hiring managers throughout the recruitment process, from job requisition to onboarding.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for applicant communications and scheduling.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with candidates.
  • Facilitate the onboarding processes for new hires.
  • Assist in planning, implementing, and managing the new hire mentorship program.
  • Collect and report applicant demographics and other HR metrics.
  • Collaboratively manage the offboarding process.
  • Maintain organizational charts, staff lists, demographics, and staff-related metrics.
Cross-Departmental Coordination
  • Manage communication, training, and implementation of an internship program with staff and community partners.
  • Collaborate on enhancing internal systems, processes, and policies.
  • Facilitate staff training on systems and processes as necessary.
  • Coordinate and recommend interim administrative support assignments for short- and long-term vacancies.
  • Ensure policies, procedures, and employee resources are current in collaboration with leadership.
  • Assist with departmental goal-setting processes, employee development support, and establishing operational standards.
Qualifications
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree
Experience:
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in human resources, project management, operations, and/or administration.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Google Drive, and project management tools.
  • Experience with HRIS systems.
  • Project management experience.
  • A positive attitude, a desire to help others reach their potential, and a commitment to making a difference.
Required Specific Skills:
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to listen and adapt messages.
  • Discretion in managing confidential information.
  • Ability to self-manage and complete tasks independently.

Compensation and Benefits

E3 Alliance is supported by founding partner Austin Community College District, utilizing ACC payroll and human resource systems. Through this partnership, E3 Alliance staff have access to ACC compensation and benefits systems, including generous vacation and sick leave, insurance, and other benefits.

Salary range: $70,000 - $80,000
  • Salary is based on experience and expertise.
  • Health care and dental insurance, retirement benefits, disability insurance, and other standard benefits.
  • This position is grant-funded, but does not have a defined period and is intended to be a full-time, ongoing position.
