Key Responsibilities- Utilize Electronic Medical Records to reconcile payments from insurance providers.
- Manage Accounts Receivable and Medical Billing processes.
- Verify insurance benefits for patients.
- Engage with insurance companies to contest incorrect payments.
- Secure prior authorization for physical and occupational therapy services.
- Handle Worker’s Compensation and auto claims documentation.
- Post insurance payments through both paper and electronic methods (EMR).
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Medical Accounts Receivable or Medical Billing.
- Proficient in navigating online insurance platforms.
- Advanced skills in Electronic Medical Records.
- Prior experience with insurance benefits, authorizations, and explanations of payments.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Experience with Explanation of Benefits is advantageous.
- Must exhibit a warm, enthusiastic, and approachable attitude in interactions with clients and team members.
