Job Summary

The Clinical Coordinator RN Dialysis plays a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to patients undergoing dialysis. This position works collaboratively with the ICU Director to assess education needs, develop training programs, and evaluate the performance of dialysis staff. The Clinical Coordinator is responsible for monitoring the quality of care provided by the department, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions. Additionally, this role serves as a liaison between nursing staff and hospital management, responding to patient and family inquiries, and providing support as needed. The Clinical Coordinator may also be required to provide direct patient care on occasion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the ICU Director to develop and implement education programs for dialysis staff
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided by the department
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions
  • Serve as a liaison between nursing staff and hospital management
  • Respond to patient and family inquiries
  • Provide support and guidance to dialysis staff as needed

Requirements
  • Strong dialysis experience required
  • Charge or supervisory experience in dialysis preferred
  • Current Louisiana RN licensure required
  • BLS and ACLS Healthcare Provider Status required
