About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Sales Consultant to join our team in Labor Accounts. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for growing and maintaining complex accounts across Maryland, DC, and Virginia.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in sales and customer service, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and managing relationships with key clients. You will work closely with our team to develop and implement account-specific strategies, identify new business opportunities, and build long-term client relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Renew and grow existing accounts, including jumbo accounts with indemnity, self-funded, shared administration, and managed care medical products, ancillary/specialty products, and life products.
  • Drive revenue growth and manage current and prospective relationships to ensure success with products.
  • Lead sales initiatives and strategies within assigned territories.
  • Develop and implement account-specific benefit and financial strategies.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 10 years of experience in sales or a related field, preferably in a similar position with a competitor or another Blue Cross Blue Shield plan.
  • A valid health and life license for the jurisdictions of Maryland, DC, and Virginia.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
