Position Overview:
The Supportive Housing Case Coordinator plays a vital role in delivering trauma-informed care to program participants facing various challenges, including mental health issues, substance use disorders, and chronic health conditions. Your primary goal will be to assist individuals in achieving and maintaining secure and stable housing.
This role encompasses a range of responsibilities, including:
- Conducting assessments and documentation
- Providing information and referrals
- Setting achievable goals
- Advocating for participants
- Coordinating case planning and services
As a Case Coordinator, you will empower participants to connect with community resources and providers, enhancing their quality of life.
Program Details:
Our supportive housing initiative, Ronald Commons, offers 60 units of permanent housing complemented by an Integrated Service Center. This center provides essential services, including a food bank, family support, and financial education for those experiencing housing insecurity.
Key information about the position:
- Location: Shoreline, WA
- Reports To: Program Manager
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, with occasional evening or weekend support for community events
- Salary: $26.37 per hour (Level 1)
- Benefits: Comprehensive health coverage, retirement plan, paid time off, and transportation assistance
Qualifications:
We are seeking candidates with:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in social or human services related to housing and homelessness
- Knowledge of equity, intersectionality, and belonging
- Familiarity with issues surrounding housing instability and mental health
Additionally, a valid WA State Food Handlers Permit is preferred, and driving qualifications may be required for certain roles.
