Job Description

Compass Housing Alliance is seeking a skilled Housing Case Manager I to join our team at Otto's Place Men's Shelter. As a key member of our housing team, you will provide trauma-informed case management services to individuals experiencing homelessness, helping them achieve stable and permanent housing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide case management services to participants, including assessment, documentation, and coordination of services.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans to address barriers to housing stability.
  • Collaborate with community providers and services to address participant needs.
  • Provide information, referrals, and direct advocacy as needed.
  • Work with program management to devise and implement corrective action plans for participants failing to meet goals.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a social/human service setting related to housing and homelessness.
  • Experience and education that demonstrates competency in and awareness of equity, intersectionality, and belonging.
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality, tactfulness, and respect for participants from diverse backgrounds and identities.
