Executive Director

LHC Group, a leading provider of post-acute care services, is seeking an experienced leader to oversee the day-to-day operations of our home health team.

About the Role

The Executive Director is responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care services, driving operational efficiency and growth, and supervising the day-to-day operations of the provider.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Oversight: Direct and supervise the day-to-day operations of the provider, including patient care services and staff management.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure the delivery of safe, economical, and efficient patient care, adhering to relevant standards of accepted nursing and medical practice.
  • Survey Readiness: Oversee all survey readiness activities, actual surveys, and ensure plans of correction are developed, implemented, and monitored.
  • Staff Management: Supervise agency staff worker's performance and monitor and assess employee performance regularly.
  • Personnel Management: Ensure that only qualified personnel are hired and oversee licensure verification, certification, and credentialing as required by law and policy.
  • Operational Metrics: Drive Operational metrics, including productivity, VBP, SVP, ACH, claims alert, late EMS, unverified services, orders audit, and agency financial statements.
  • Emergency Response: Act as Emergency Coordinator during emergencies and ensure appropriate plan execution.
  • Investigations: Represent the agency and complete a timely and thorough investigation of concerns voiced by patients, caregivers, and referral sources.
Qualifications
  • Leadership Experience: Registered nurse with at least 1 year supervisory or administrative experience in a home healthcare setting or a related healthcare field.
  • Certifications: Current CPR certification.
  • Transportation: Current Driver's License and vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation.
