Position Overview:
Restpadd Psychiatric Health Facility (PHF) is seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Director/Psychiatrist to oversee our two 16-bed inpatient facilities. Our organization is committed to providing acute care for individuals with mental health challenges, including both adults and youth.


Role Responsibilities:
The Medical Director/Psychiatrist will collaborate with our interdisciplinary treatment team to effectively diagnose and manage patients with mental health disorders. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting initial psychiatric evaluations for new admissions.
  • Performing follow-up assessments and preparing discharge summaries.
  • Formulating diagnoses, treatment plans, and prognoses based on evaluations.
  • Prescribing and managing medication regimens for patients.
  • Ordering and interpreting necessary diagnostic and laboratory tests.
  • Participating in interdisciplinary meetings and leadership discussions.
  • Providing clinical oversight and mentorship to nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and other medical staff.
  • Facilitating training and scheduling for clinical staff.
  • Engaging in quality assurance and peer review processes.
  • Maintaining a presence on-site two to three days per week.


Compensation and Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary range of $275,000 - $325,000, commensurate with experience. Our benefits package includes:

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must:
