The Product Marketing division is seeking a Senior Manager to spearhead and execute essential go-to-market strategies for our financial monitoring and discovery tools, as well as our financial assistant features. We are in search of a seasoned product marketing professional to guide strategy formulation and ensure alignment with core organizational objectives, driving product adoption and engagement. By leading our GTM strategy, you will contribute to Credit Karma's overarching mission of assisting over 130 million members in achieving financial progress.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Craft and enhance positioning, segmentation strategies, competitive assessments, and messaging frameworks to articulate the value of offering our members a comprehensive view of their finances, extending beyond credit data to support our connected account objectives.
  • Collaborate with vital stakeholders (such as product, growth marketing, brand & creative, research, analytics, etc.) across Financial Assistant, Financial Monitoring & Discovery, and Credit Cards teams to establish a center of excellence for connected accounts. This includes synthesizing qualitative and quantitative member insights (e.g., NPS, member support, qualitative research, and other customer feedback) with performance best practices and competitive analysis, while creating ongoing feedback mechanisms across teams to enhance effective strategies and learn from past experiences.
  • Drive action through insights derived from data (market research, testing methodologies, etc.).
  • Deliver exceptional outputs to distinguish our offerings in the marketplace, including product positioning and messaging across the portfolio, website/app content, product naming, and competitive positioning.
  • Implement rituals, processes, and transparent communication channels to empower and uplift all cross-functional teams involved in building and marketing the benefits of connected accounts for our members.
Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of experience in Product Marketing within a consumer technology environment.
  • 3+ years of experience in managing and mentoring high-performing teams, with a focus on leveraging consumer insights to enhance product and marketing experiences.
  • Strong foundation in product marketing principles: positioning, messaging, user personas, product launches, competitive intelligence, segmentation, and product discovery.
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution, or at least 5 years of relevant business experience with a proven record of continuous professional development.

  • Proven experience collaborating with Product, Data Analytics, and Creative teams.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to transform concepts into impactful product marketing initiatives.
  • Strong analytical skills combined with a creative approach to balance data with actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Exceptional communication abilities to motivate teams and present compelling strategies to stakeholders.
  • High ownership mentality with a readiness to engage in hands-on work while effectively delegating and relying on team members.
  • Experience in a consumer-focused technology organization is advantageous.

Compensation Transparency: Credit Karma is committed to championing financial progress for all, starting from within. Our role-based compensation model ensures equitable pay for individuals in similar roles, with variations based solely on geographic location. This approach is part of a broader DEI strategy aimed at leveling the playing field. The base salary range for this position is $200,000 - $220,000, in addition to equity and benefits.
