About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Writer to join our team at Corner Alliance, a dynamic and growing consulting firm. As a trusted member of our team, you will provide communications support to our federal client, ensuring program alignment of internal and external stakeholder engagements within the current mission and priorities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Execute Communication Strategies: Conceptualize, design, and execute responsive and interactive digital guidance, publications, and tools for applicants across multiple platforms.
  • Content Creation and Management: Create and update briefing and marketing materials needed for conferences, speaking engagements, and other outreach events. Draft written and oral talking points for presentations and engagements as needed.
  • Content Governance and Security: Manage the content of the information on the DHS website. Maintain the security and confidentiality of all sensitive and proprietary information submitted by applicants.
  • Leadership and Collaboration: Lead the development of communication strategies and stakeholder outreach. Coordinate and facilitate timely communication and outreach efforts with internal and external stakeholders. Lead the editorial reviews of formal internal and external DHS correspondence.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of relevant professional experience.
  • Technical Skills: Demonstrated experience gathering, analyzing, and composing complex technical information. Ability to understand complex technical issues and communicate those issues to a non-technical audience.
  • Soft Skills: Ability to work collaboratively with subject matter experts and government personnel. Must possess the ability to build partnerships across all levels of government. Must be able to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
  • Certifications and Clearances: Active SECRET security clearance. US Citizenship.
