Position Summary:
We are in search of a Cybersecurity Systems Analyst to support our mission in safeguarding the nation’s communication networks. This role is crucial in monitoring and mitigating threats to national security and emergency response communications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage security certification and accreditation documentation for IT systems in compliance with federal policies and standards.
  • Engage in security assessments, testing, and the development of system policies and procedures.
  • Oversee security measures throughout the system life cycle, including the review of audit logs.
  • Assist in the planning, design, and implementation of information systems security.
  • Provide engineering support for the testing and integration of software and hardware solutions.
  • Ensure physical security measures are effectively implemented.
  • Maintain compliance with legal requirements regarding proprietary software usage.
  • Keep an updated inventory of hardware and software assets.
  • Participate in security awareness training and disseminate relevant information to users.
  • Report security incidents in accordance with established protocols.
  • Contribute to the preparation of reports regarding sensitive information systems.

Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with FISMA, DHS policies, and NIST 800 security guidelines.
  • Strong communication skills for effective briefings and presentations.
  • Ability to interpret and apply complex policies and regulations.
  • Analytical skills with a focus on problem-solving and logical reasoning.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in ISR/FMV.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Possession of industry certifications such as CISSP or CAP.
  • Previous access to DHS Entry on Duty (EOD).

Security Clearance:
Active TS/SCI clearance is required, along with the ability to obtain and maintain DHS EOD access.

Education:
A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience (5 years).

Work Environment:
This position requires onsite presence.
