This critical role necessitates flexible working hours, including nights and weekends.

Key Responsibilities:


• Support the identification, response, mitigation, and documentation of cyber threats impacting client networks.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of existing vulnerabilities and the strategies employed in cybersecurity operations.
• Generate reports and briefs that accurately depict the current threat landscape and associated risks.
• Analyze correlated information sources for enhanced situational awareness.
• Assist clients in proactively investigating cyber activities targeting their information and infrastructure.
• Collaborate with the training department to educate staff on cyber threats.
• Liaise with various government cyber threat analysis entities, including intra-agency and inter-agency Cyber Threat Working Groups.
• Ensure proficiency in creating visualization charts, link analysis diagrams, and executing database queries.
• Analyze and report on cyber threats while aiding in the detection, identification, monitoring, and investigation of network intrusions.
• Meet and uphold customer-required Information Assurance training compliance.

Clearance Requirement:

Required Skills:
• Active/current Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI.
• Eligibility for DHS suitability prior to employment commencement.
• U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.
• Hands-on experience in detecting, responding to, mitigating, and reporting cyber threats affecting client networks, along with one or more of the following:
• Experience in computer intrusion analysis and incident response.
• Knowledge of network protocols, devices, multiple operating systems, and secure architectures.
• Experience in computer evidence seizure, forensic analysis, and data recovery.
• Proficiency in system log analysis.
• Familiarity with current cyber threats and their associated tactics, techniques, and procedures.
• Current experience in network intrusion detection and response operations (Protect, Defend, Respond, and Sustain methodology).
• Proficiency in MS Office Applications.
• Ability to work collaboratively across agencies and locations.

Desired Skills:
• Experience supporting DHS, Federal Civil, Intelligence, and/or DoD clients.
• Malware reverse engineering experience.
• Scripting skills (Python, Perl, etc.).
• Experience in process development and deployment.
• Excellent writing capabilities.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Analyst Notebook is preferred.
• Prior experience with Splunk.

Desired Certifications:
• Additional Technical CND Incident Reporter Certification (CEH, GCIH, GCIA, GNFA).
• DoDI M M IAT Level I Compliant Certification (Network + CE, A+ CE, CCNA + Security, SSCP).

Required Education:
• Bachelor's degree in a related field with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
• A Master's degree in a related discipline may substitute for 4 years of experience.
• Professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
