We are looking for a Cybersecurity Systems Analyst to play a pivotal role in aligning security initiatives necessary for maintaining an Authority to Operate (ATO). This position involves providing essential support for Assessment and Authorization (A&A) processes.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in identifying the current security framework and defining future security programs related to system operations.
  • Collaborate with security personnel to design, develop, and implement solutions that meet security requirements.
  • Oversee the development and execution of the organization's IT security protocols.
  • Collect and organize technical data regarding mission objectives, existing security solutions, and ongoing initiatives.
  • Conduct risk assessments and analyses to identify potential vulnerabilities.
  • Support the planning, coordination, and execution of the organization's System Security Plan.
  • Work with relevant stakeholders to create, update, and maintain necessary security documentation and reporting.
  • Engage in various security-related tasks, including:
    • Developing and maintaining Privacy Threshold Analysis and assisting with Privacy Impact Assessments.
    • Creating and facilitating Contingency Plans and associated testing.
    • Managing Configuration Management Plans and updating Security Plans as necessary.
    • Establishing and maintaining Incident Response Plans.
    • Conducting Annual Self-Assessments of security controls, policies, and procedures.
Required Qualifications:
  • U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.
  • Ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.
  • Must secure DHS Suitability prior to employment.
  • Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in information security management, with a focus on ensuring compliance with security controls.
Essential Skills:
  • Familiarity with standard security principles, policies, and industry best practices.
  • Knowledge of U.S. Government Information Assurance policies and standards.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Understanding of security practices in hybrid environments, including hardware/software security implementations.
  • Experience with cybersecurity tools such as Firewalls, SIEM, and cloud-native security solutions.
  • Comprehension of defense-in-depth strategies and network security architecture.
  • Knowledge of authentication and access management technologies.
Preferred Skills:
  • Ability to work collaboratively across various locations.
  • Experience with AWS security services, including Guard Duty and IAM.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Splunk, Tenable, and Tanium.
  • Experience with Xacta and Continuum.
