Asst/Assoc/Full Professor of Clinical Diagnostic Toxicology

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Asst/Assoc/Full Professor of Clinical Diagnostic Toxicology to join our team at the University of California, Davis. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert diagnostic toxicology services to the livestock and poultry industries, as well as wildlife and companion animals.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will have the following key responsibilities:
* Provide expert diagnostic toxicology services to the livestock and poultry industries, as well as wildlife and companion animals.
* Develop and implement new diagnostic procedures and techniques to improve the accuracy and efficiency of toxicology testing.
* Collaborate with veterinarians, livestock producers, and regulatory agencies to provide expert advice and guidance on toxicology-related issues.
* Conduct research and publish papers on toxicology-related topics to advance the field and contribute to the development of new diagnostic procedures.
* Teach and mentor students, residents, and postdoctoral researchers in the field of toxicology.
Requirements
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
* DVM or equivalent degree required.
* Board certification or eligibility by the American Board of Veterinary Toxicology required.
* Advanced degree in toxicology or closely related field preferred.
* Clinical experience and competence in veterinary toxicology preferred.
* Demonstrated aptitude/experience in teaching desired.
* Interest in collaboration in basic toxicology research desired.
