Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Health Sciences Clinical Professor to join our team at the University of California, Davis School of Medicine. The successful candidate will be responsible for engaging in teaching, professional competence, and activity, scholarly or creative activities, and University/public service. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills and interest in Non-Invasive Cardiology, with experience in teaching at the undergraduate or graduate level. The position is open to all ranks, Assistant, Associate, and Full Professor.

Responsibilities

The Health Sciences Clinical Professor will be responsible for:

• Providing expert clinical care in the field of non-invasive cardiology with a focus on echocardiography

• Teaching medical students, residents, and fellows

• Engaging in university/public service

• Participating in regular attendance at scheduled meetings and CME activities

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

• An MD., M.D./Ph.D., D.O. or equivalent degree

• Board certification/eligibility in Cardiovascular Medicine and Echocardiography

• Medical licensure or eligible for licensure in the state of California

• ACGME accredited fellowship or equivalent experience
