Social Worker

Thom Child & Family Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker or Mental Health Clinician to join their team in Worcester, MA. As an Early Intervention Social Worker or Clinician, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of families and children from birth to 3 years old.
Responsibilities:- Participate in multidisciplinary team assessments to identify client developmental status.
- Provide direct child development services and activities tailored to the needs of children 0-3 and their families.
- Develop and implement Individual Family Service Plans (IFSPs) with a focus on identifying goals, objectives, and strategies for child development.
- Complete progress notes, reports, and assessments as required.
- Provide individual and group intervention for infants and toddlers with developmental delays or at risk for delays.
- Assess family and child strengths, concerns, and progress.
- Act as service coordinator for families, scheduling, developing, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating intervention plans.
- Provide supportive professional assistance to families and facilitate parent-child interactions to encourage child development.
- Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited school of social work or Certified/Licensed Social Worker (LCSW, LICSW, LMHC) required.
- Experience working with infants, toddlers, and families preferred.
- Knowledge of family systems and early childhood development.
- Ability to engage in meaningful, therapeutic relationships with children, parents/caregivers, and community partners.
- Commitment to delivering individualized and culturally humble services.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
- Abide by all confidentiality and professional boundaries standards.
- Good computer skills and strong documentation skills.
- Current driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Bilingual/Bicultural a plus.
