Compensation:

Starting salary of $60,000, exempt position

Role Responsibilities:

Manage the daily and strategic operations of the case management team, providing essential guidance and resources to ensure high-quality service delivery to children and families in need.

A Day in the Life of a Child Welfare Program Supervisor:

  • Ensure timely completion of service plans that incorporate client feedback.
  • Assess foster care services to confirm alignment with the agency's long-term goals and efficiency standards.
  • Step in to provide case management services when team members are unavailable.
  • Review and validate documentation from team members to ensure compliance with established guidelines.
  • Conduct weekly one-on-one supervision sessions with team members.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Human Services, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in Child Welfare is preferred.
  • CWEL License is preferred.

Additional Requirements:

  • Completion of a DCFS criminal background check and fingerprinting.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Possess a reliable and insured vehicle.
  • A minimum of three years of driving experience with a valid driver's license.
  • Successful completion of DCFS Foundations Training for Child Welfare Licensure (if applicable).
