Compensation:
Starting salary of $60,000, exempt position
Role Responsibilities:
Manage the daily and strategic operations of the case management team, providing essential guidance and resources to ensure high-quality service delivery to children and families in need.
A Day in the Life of a Child Welfare Program Supervisor:
- Ensure timely completion of service plans that incorporate client feedback.
- Assess foster care services to confirm alignment with the agency's long-term goals and efficiency standards.
- Step in to provide case management services when team members are unavailable.
- Review and validate documentation from team members to ensure compliance with established guidelines.
- Conduct weekly one-on-one supervision sessions with team members.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Social Work, Human Services, or a related discipline.
- Experience in Child Welfare is preferred.
- CWEL License is preferred.
Additional Requirements:
- Completion of a DCFS criminal background check and fingerprinting.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Possess a reliable and insured vehicle.
- A minimum of three years of driving experience with a valid driver's license.
- Successful completion of DCFS Foundations Training for Child Welfare Licensure (if applicable).
