About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Provider to join our team at American Family Care Franchise 2001. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our staff to ensure efficient patient flow and exceptional patient satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Comprehensive Patient Assessments
    • Perform thorough health histories, review patient records, and develop comprehensive medical assessments
    • Order laboratory, radiological, and diagnostic studies as necessary
  • Develop and Implement Treatment Plans
    • Formulate medical and nursing diagnoses and institute therapy or referrals as needed
    • Provide instructions and guidance to patients and their families on health care and health promotion
  • Manage Emergency Situations
    • Institute emergency measures and emergency treatment as necessary
    • Provide stabilization measures in situations such as cardiac arrest, shock, hemorrhage, convulsions, poisoning, and allergic reactions
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Team
    • Work collaboratively with other providers and staff to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality patient care
Requirements
  • Excellent Communication Skills
    • Excellent communicator with staff, patients, and families
  • Professional Qualifications
    • ANCC, AANP, or NCCPA Board Certified
    • Active and current Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of practice, DEA number, and state-controlled substance certificate
  • Business Acumen
    • Able to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment
