Job Title: Support Specialist - Therapeutic Residential Program

We are currently recruiting for a Support Specialist to join our team at Cornerstones of Maine, a small residential treatment program designed to assist young adults in their journey to adulthood.

About the Role:
  • As a Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing support and guidance to residents in a therapeutic residential setting.
  • You will work closely with residents to help them develop life skills and achieve their goals.
  • Your role will also involve supervising residents during daily routines and providing assistance as needed.
  • In addition, you will transport residents to and from locations throughout the community as required.
  • You will administer crisis intervention as needed to ensure resident safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support and guidance to residents in a therapeutic residential setting.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patient and understanding approach when working with residents.
  • Experience working with young adults who have struggled with mental health issues.

Salary:$55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
