Position Summary

The Inventory Operations Leader plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily functions of the Retail Store. This position may require stepping in as the acting Manager on Duty when the Store Manager and Assistant Manager are unavailable. The individual will strictly follow the operational guidelines and procedures established to meet sales and profitability objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Duties:

  • Manage and reconcile inventory counts, addressing any discrepancies promptly.
  • Implement strategies to control expenses while ensuring the store operates efficiently.
  • Conduct inventory maintenance tasks, including movement, audits, shipping/receiving, RTVs, and transfers.
  • Utilize the POS system and inventory management tools effectively to maximize store efficiencies.
  • Collaborate with store management to communicate and enforce new policies and procedures.
  • Assist in maintaining compliance with all security and loss prevention protocols.
  • Oversee repair management and ensure timely follow-up with clients.
  • Lead the planning and execution of pricing adjustments.
  • When acting as manager, handle the opening and closing procedures of the store as necessary.
  • Manage, train, and develop the sales support team.
  • Address IT issues in collaboration with corporate partners.

Sales and Customer Service:

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic initiatives aimed at achieving sales and profitability targets.
  • Actively engage on the sales floor as needed.
  • Ensure that support staff possess the skills required to deliver a positive and rewarding client experience during all customer interactions.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience in an operational role within a customer service setting; prior management experience in luxury retail is preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on motivating team members to reach their goals.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and project management capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
