Job Summary:
SBM Management is seeking a highly organized and experienced Custodial Supervisor to oversee all activities within the custodial program and ensure safe work practices and procedures are implemented.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and monitor work activities and schedules of team employees
- Assist in the hiring, on-boarding, and training of new employees
- Compile written reports and maintain detailed records
- Perform quality, service, and safety inspections; monitor employees for proper use of personal protective equipment, supplies, and equipment
- Act as the conduit of information between management and front-line staff
- Track equipment and supply inventory
- Report employee personnel and customer issues to manager
- Provide corrective action recommendations on areas that need improvement
Requirements:
- Must have experience in janitorial or facilities management
- Ability to work in a manufacturing/warehouse environment with a significant amount of walking
- Must be flexible and able to adapt to a fast-paced environment and client requests
- Ability to demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- 2+ years of management experience
- Bilingual in Spanish
- Needs to have reliable transportation to and from site
- Proficient in Word, Excel, Teams, and other basic software programs
- Experience in union environments is a plus
Preferred Qualifications:
- Active/Transferable DoD TS Clearance
Compensation and Benefits:
$55,000 - $60,000 per year
Shift Options:
- 1st Shift (6am-2:30pm, Monday-Friday) (Rotating Weekends)
- 2nd Shift (2pm-10:30pm, Monday-Friday) (Rotating Weekends)
- 3rd Shift (10:00pm-6:30am, Monday-Friday) (Rotating Weekends)
