Position Overview


As a Certified Recovery Support Specialist, you will leverage your personal experiences to foster environments that promote healing and recovery.

Your role will focus on instilling hope, encouraging personal accountability, and empowering individuals through education and self-determination within the communities you serve.

In this position, you will receive training to assist others in developing essential skills, solving problems, establishing and sustaining self-help mutual support groups, and creating self-directed recovery strategies.

A vital component of this role involves guiding individuals in defining their recovery objectives and outlining actionable steps to achieve those goals.

Qualifications We Seek:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Must be at least 18 years old
Self-identified as an individual living with a mental health condition, willing to utilize your personal journey to assist others in their recovery
A minimum of one (1) year dedicated to wellness and recovery
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Successful completion of a criminal background check

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in a Human Services discipline (Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, etc.)
At least one (1) year of experience in a mental health or substance abuse residential setting; OR
A minimum of two (2) years of experience working with a psychiatric demographic
