  • Manage recruitment processes, including staffing, classification, and training initiatives.
  • Ensure adherence to applicable state and federal regulations as well as human resources policies.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to both applicants and current employees.
  • Engage in the development and execution of human resources policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • Preferred: Degree in human resources, Organizational Development, Business, Communications, or Public Administration.
  • Experience in full-cycle recruiting, particularly in fields such as accounting, legal, and procurement.
  • Familiarity with recruitment software, including Taleo and/or state of Texas CAPPS Recruit.
  • Certifications such as Professional Human Resources (PHR) or SHRM-CP are advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert consultation to divisions regarding their staffing requirements.
  • Evaluate job descriptions, screening criteria, and interview methodologies.
  • Advise on human resources planning at the divisional level.
  • Conduct internal classification assessments and review personnel action requests.
  • Stay informed about HR trends and legislative changes.
  • Support training initiatives and the implementation of policies.
  • Complete special projects as directed by the HR management team.
